Von Imagination D zu Audio Habitat From Imagination D to Audio Habitat
Bevor es Audio Habitat gab, hieß das Projekt Imagination D. Unter diesem Namen ging es auf Drum-&-Bass-Floors in Deutschland und England — der Name änderte sich später zu Audio Habitat, der Antrieb blieb derselbe: kompromisslos elektronisch, mit einer Vorliebe für jedes Genre, das Drum & Bass zu bieten hat. Under that name it played Drum & Bass floors across Germany and England — the name changed to Audio Habitat later, the drive didn't: uncompromisingly electronic, with a soft spot for every corner Drum & Bass has to offer.
Vier Namen, eine CrewFour names, one crew
Im Zentrum stand Imagination D. Skeptic, Atomic Dread und Stints schlossen sich an — aus einem Alias wurde eine Crew unter einem gemeinsamen Namen: Audio Habitat. Imagination D was the center of it. Skeptic, Atomic Dread and Stints joined in — an alias became a crew under one shared name: Audio Habitat.
Mit der Zeit verlor sich das. Jeder ging seinen eigenen Weg, der Name wurde still. Over time, that faded. Everyone went their own way, and the name went quiet.
2026 holt Imagination D ihn zurück — heute als Daniel da Silva, wieder solo, mit demselben Anspruch wie am ersten Tag. 2026: Imagination D brings it back — today as Daniel da Silva, solo again, same standard as day one.

Der SoundCloud-Katalog von Audio Habitat reicht bis 2008 zurück — eigene Produktionen neben Remixen und Edits von Tracks von Black Sun Empire, Noisia, Phace, Command Strange, The Prototypes und Dom & Roland. 2014 lief der auf Director's Cut Recordings erschienene Track „Lox" in Crissy Criss' Show auf BBC Radio 1Xtra. Audio Habitat's SoundCloud catalog goes back to 2008 — original productions alongside remixes and edits of tracks by Black Sun Empire, Noisia, Phace, Command Strange, The Prototypes and Dom & Roland. In 2014, "Lox" — released on Director's Cut Recordings — got played on Crissy Criss' show on BBC Radio 1Xtra.
